it was a great day filled with fun surprises and good conversations. lunch with a friend. afternoon nap and coffee with sweetlucas. pretty much, if you put all the things that i like on a list, most were there. except pancakes. looking back, i think my only regret is that i didn't have pancakes for breakfast. then it would have been perfect.
and as you might assume, there was some birthday money as well.

because out of all the things that money can buy, this is what i want first. i've gone so far to the momside, i can't even handle it. :)
i really like my diaper bag, but most of the time it's just unnecessary. all i need are some dipes and wipes for the baby when we're off to church or running an errand. so this beauty, with wipes on side and storage for diapers on the other, will allow me and sadie to share my much smaller purse. booyah. plus, i think it's cute. i love you Etsy, you are the spunkiest/homiest/creativest website in the whole world.
and i had the thought earlier today..."i wonder what i'll want to buy with my birthday money when i turn 85 years old?" hmmm. good question. what DO women that old buy? really big diaper clutches?? :)

yes, you will buy a diaper clutch for your depends. also, maybe a snuggie. brad and i seriously considered "the clapper" for our bedroom.....wait, maybe this is my list. :)
Sounds like a fabulous birthday!! I think I'm going to make my sister-in-law one of those handy little devices. I love etsy too! :) It's nice when you get to the point of not needing carry on luggage everywhere you go, isn't it?
Haha, Kelsey is funny :-). And I am SO with you on the diaper clutch, that would certainly help organize the random diaper and wipes in the bottom of my purse. I love it and I LOVE Etsy. I can't even look at the website very often or I would be broke. :-)
