here's a list of the top ten things i've been up to since my last post...in no particular order:
- enjoying our guests. luke's grandparents and parents were in town, so we've been in quasi-vacation lala land since last thursday. i love having guests. i don't love the beforecleaning and afterlaundry. everything has a price, right? tons of great pictures from the weekend, but this one makes me LAUGH:

- eating like some sort of starving linebacker (see above for reason)
- voting. here's a picture of Sadie helping sort through the avalanche of political junk mail:

- blowing my mind and countless hours with the awesomeness of Picasa3. OH MY GOODNESS. if you haven't downloaded this photo editing system, you should seriously check it out. simple. extensive. and free.
- did i mention laundry?
- digging this fall foliage goodness. look at this view from our walking path:

- watching the movie "Good Night and Good Luck". very impressed.
- making pumpkin bars. due to a particularly treasured care package from mama, circa fall 2001, pumpkin bars are intrinsically tied to memories of Printy 17. whenever i taste one, i feel like i should be wearing a sweatskirt and chatting with my roommates.
- calling my sister approximately 20 times a day to share any little question or comment that crosses my mind. if she starts blocking my number, i wouldn't blame her.
- failing to blog.
that pretty much sums it up.

Hey can I have your pumpkin bars recipe?! And is it a secret or can I blog it? I was thinking this morning that I wanted an Applesauce or a Pumpkin Bar recipe to try this week and to blog about it for Tasty Tuesday then I read this?! Props to YOU! I miss you! No more blogging breaks for you! Love you my sweet!!!! Is Sadie one yet?! Or is that coming soon?
absolutely, kell! i'll get that to you tonight (hopefully). and her birthday is today. can't believe it!
I have been just sitting on my computer waiting for a new post from YOU! :) I hope that Sadie's bday celebration is everything she wanted. I was just reading my new (free!) Martha Stewart Living mag and she recommends the picasa photo editing too... I'm definitely going to have to check this out because my pics need help! and organization!
