not that you asked, but...

((took this from Kayla's blog. i'm a thief like that.))

Can you drive a stick shift? mmm. i guess that depends on what you mean by "drive".  can i get the car to move? yes. can i accomplish that without ruining the clutch or killing the motor every few minutes? no

What are two foods you just can't eat? corned beef and cabbage. grrrroooosssss

Do you buy Girl Scout Cookies? What is your favorite kind? i never buy any...suddenly i feel a little bad about that.

How do you pamper yourself? well, i feel zero guilt about catching the occasional nap.  i take hot baths with fancy bubbles. i like pina coladas and walks on the beach. wait, what was the question?

What is your nickname and how did you get it?  i've got several nicknames.  Lindsey Lou, from my Grandpa Francis. he has a little rhyme..."Lindsey Lou, how are you? one eye black and one eye blue".  kinda weird, now that i type it out, but coming from Grandpa it's no less than a declaration of love. mmm. friends and family have always called me Lindz. college roommates from Cedarville will sometimes call me Bendy (my maiden name is Bender). one of my Purdue roommates calls me Espacia... but the one person you might ASSUME has a nickname for me (my husband), only refers to me as Lindsey. that's the way we roll. :)

just got back from Target and it took a respectable amount of willpower to keep myself from buying this:
Lattice Porcelain Bread Basket

i had visions of filling it with lemons/oranges/limes and using it as a centerpiece.  it would look so fresh and Springlike on my table! and this place is crying out for some Spring!! i walked by it three times, and ultimately decided to wait and see if it goes on sale.  i agonize over routine purchases with more angst than some people do their tattoos. "should i, shouldn't i, should i, shouldn't i"....in any case, we'll see if it's still there next time i'm at the bullseye boutique. next time, my inner Scrooge might not win out. and then there will be citrus centerpieces for all!!

You will always be Bender to me. I cant help it. It just works :) I believe that you should probably learn how to drive a stick shift for real. Could be real useful someday. I love your cheapness - makes me feel better about mine :)

If I were with you you'd have a bowl with oranges, limes, and lemons in it smiling at you from your table:)

I think you need to go back and buy the bowl, I mean seriously. Who doesn't need to splurge when you live in these climates to make Spring happen but a few moments sooner?
