| "please let me out of the country. thanks." |
the first words out of my mouth were "oh my gosh, i look like a terrorist"....a spasm of drama, even by my own standards. it's obviously not my best shot, but really, who looks their best while not smiling and staring blankly into a camera? not this girl. not this girl.
all these thoughts of globe trotting bring me back to a long held personal belief that i would make an awesome spy. unassuming, mild mannered, people love to tell me their life stories, and i'm a trained ninja ((just kidding. or am i?)). CIA, if you're reading this, give me a call.
do you have your passport? where should we go first?

oh my gosh, this is hilarious!!! i feel like i don't even know that woman in the picture! :)
I'm sorry, but as soon as I saw your pic, I laughed out loud hahaha! xo
1) That is a FANTASTIC picture that needs to be posted on the church website in some fashion. Any fashion. Maybe we should create a New Horizon's page and post passport pics of all of us.
2) Prague, Czech Republic. Get tips from Melissa, but you will fall in love with it, I promise.
Ummm... 1. Do you and your sister plan these blogs? You guys post on the same day a LOT. 2. Kyle was walking by behind me when I was reading this, stopped, and said in a somewhat alarmed shocked voice, IS THAT BENDER??? HAHAHAHA! totally awesome picture lady :)
3. I dont think that it is Canada that you have to worry about... BUT I think that this is a super idea. I'm thinking that after Kyle gets his permit to carry me and the girls should get our passports.
4. you need to post more often, I love love love reading about your life :)
I've considered getting a passport, too. Just in case we want to take another trip to Mexico. Last few times I went I didn't need one, but now you do. Darn it!
I heard that you can't smile in your driver's license pic now either. How not fair! I have been told that I look MAD if I don't smile. So, I'll probably look like a ticked off terrorist, as well! Come October, when the name change happens, I'll be ready to [not] smile for the camera!
For the record, your passport photo is much more flatering than mine. I look like I have a bowling ball sitting on what I would suppose is a neck but can't be seen. It's terrible. The only good news about it is that it has expired and I can finally re-do it.
You can always come on our next trip to Guatemala. I can't promise you that you won't get crazy stomach issues and slight dehydration. But hey, if you are ever looking to shed some weight, it's the place to go!
Meggan, you've got a lot of great ideas. i agree that my passport photo would bring nothing but edification to NH....and Prague would be AMAZING! adding that to my evergrowing list of "places i must go"
and Liz, you make Guatemala sound like a spa without all the snobs. sign me up!! :)
and yes Jenniken, kelsey and i do plan our blog posts. we're sisters like that.
Oh boy, passport pics are never good. Although, it's really not that bad! I'm using mine to go to Jamaica for my honeymoon - woo!!!!
Oh Lindz. They made me do this at my last photo. I look like such a creeper. How weird is it to NOT smile for a photo? And ps. you could totally be a spy. I hear the CIA is hiring . . .
