snagging a "good picture" of a toddler is enough to make anyone long for the sleepless days of newborn photo shoots ((almost)).  sheesshh. here are the best pictures from yesterday's pre-church photo extravaganza:

yes, that is a plastic bin. and no, it didn't work.  she's just entered a major climbing phase, and as far as being useful "stay put for a picture" tools, bins are apparently soooo four months ago. if those were the good pictures, let me assure you that there are about 50 not-so-good ones. a quick sampling of the bloopers:

but my favorite shot of the whole day was from later on, when we went over to our friends' house for some dessert.  they have two adorable boys ((redheads!)), and sadie loves to play with them...here is my attempt at a "our precious little angels on the doorstep" shot:
