like before, but different.

back to the "california thing"...

as you know, this is not the first time we thought we were moving to southern california. in fact, ever since moving away from orange county, opportunities have come and gone to move back. this time we felt like all the doors opened and that God was leading us to step right on through. here are the basics:

• we'll be right back in the OC
• it's short term. three to four years, maybe even a little less.
• we'll be keeping our place here in Allentown 
• it's an exciting opportunity for lucas at work (same company)
• it's an exciting opportunity for me to not be stuck in the house with two small children for seasons at a time
• we aren't being forced to go. this isn't the military
• we're hoping this will be our last short term move, since in a couple years sadie will start school (yikes!)

we really like the Lehigh Valley and we reallyreally like our church here. we have a handful of friends that we will truly miss! but as people have asked how i feel about the whole thing, i can't help but admit that i'm completely excited. we know it'll be SO different this time around, but there are still many things to look forward to. people to reconnect with, sunshine to enjoy, adventures to embark on...i'm ready.
