so, remember a long time ago when i used to blog?
huh. it's been a while. two big things you should know:
- we had that baby i was referring to last post
- we are moving back to california
- due to item #2, i have renamed this blog
wait. so make that three big things.
let's start with some of my favorite pictures of our sweet baby, Molly Catherine.

it's unbelievable how fast the past five months have gone by. i know saying that makes me sound like a middle aged woman, but it's TRUE. poof. suddenly the baby is eating and sleeping and smiling and laughing and those newborn months are a total blur forever.
after an initial rough patch of
GERD and day/night reversals, i think it's safe to say that we've hit the baby jackpot. if this baby was any smilier, you'd think she was faking it. she sleeps a solid 10 hours every night, nurses like a champion, and has the raddest head of hair you're likely to see this week. she single handedly halted all commerce at our butcher shop when the women came out from behind the counter to coo over her. true, it didn't bag us any free sausages or anything, but it was flattering nonetheless. we've all fallen head-over-heels in love, not the least of which this one:

i was telling a friend today that when sadie hates the world, as i've found two year olds sometimes do, she still loves molly. when she is tired and cranky, she still loves molly. even when she gets in trouble because of molly, she still LOVES molly. our prayers that sadie would adjust well to having a baby sister have been answered far and above what we could have ever imagined. they have a special relationship already and it is a beautiful thing to behold. God has been so gracious to us.
as for the whole california thing...well that's another post entirely.

SO I think one of my favorite pictures of your whole family ever is in your "about" section. And no it's not the good one where you're all smiling. It made me laugh out loud :) love you guys! So glad you're blogging again!!!
