had a day to remember yesterday as we drove the River Road in Bucks County. it's not Highway 1 up the coast of California, but it was awe-inspiring in a quieter, gentler sorta way.  we took in all the greenygreeness, the wide blue river, and an endless string of beautiful historic houses and tiny shoppes/cafes. HIGHLY recommend it.  as such, i've got river on the brain....
