lehighism: so pretty.

there's lots to say after a christmas trip to the homeland, but that must wait.

for now, my thoughts are with tomorrow and specifically the snow that we're supposed to get. estimated 1-3 inches, nothing too crazy. this would be the first snow in our new place and i've been dying to take the tot out in her pink-tastic snowsuit.

and it reminds me of a lehighism that i became acutely aware of as we drove across Ohio and parts of Indiana. the lehigh valley is so PRETTY, even in winter. nothing makes you appreciate this more than hours of driving across flat, gray land. it's got hills and rivers and tons of charming homes. plus, enough trees to keep a whole colony of lumberjacks busy for centuries.  here are a few pics:

i think tomorrow is going to look like the last one, only with a tiny pink person in the foreground. that's my hope, anyway.
